4-Point Inspections are typically required by Insurance companies prior to issuing Homeowner Insurance Policies on homes usually 25 years old or more.
A “Four Point Inspection” focuses only on four main areas of interest in a home:
1. HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning)
2. Electrical wiring and panels
3. Plumbing connections and fixtures
The inspection and report describes the condition and age of each of these elements. Also, the 4 point inspection must be performed by:
• A Professional Engineer
• A general, residential or building contractor
• A home inspector
Lucky for YOU, Tom Frey is a Professional Engineer. In addition, Tom has extensive experience as a General Contractor and Home Inspector. Learn more about Tom here.
